Short North Missed Connections

Mother Hen

I saw you last weekend, on the corner of 4th and High, next to the patio at Goody Boy. You were in a tight white tank top, black leggings and belly button high jean shorts. You were bending over, whipping puke of your friends face. She was belly down in a gutter and the volume of liquid shooting out of her mouth would have been enough to make anyone toss their cookies as well but you stayed strong. Even when the vomit splashed your hair and onto your cloths. I admire your tenacity.

When the cops came and they called the paramedics to take her away you cried your eyes out and begged them to let you both go. With each heavy sob I watched the wonderful jiggle of your exquisite breasts. The way your mascara ran really made me hot. I was guy on the patio in a baseball cap and blue graphic tee, smoking a cigarette and trying not to laughing. I felt a connection but I'm very shy with a good sense of humor. I hope your friend's not dead. I'll be waiting for your response.

Part of the Flock

We were both sitting outside of Bodega. I was in a flora sundress and wide brimmed floppy hat. I have long strawberry blond hair and been told I have a cute smile. I met my friend there later but when I saw you I was alone. Every time I noticed you checking me out, I'd turn to look and you'd break eye contact.

You were in skinny jeans and Red Wing boots. You had a beard, shaggy dirty blond hair and black thick frame glasses. Or was it a mustache, mullet and baggy slouch? Maybe aviators? I think you WERE the one with a beard actually. Wait, it wasn't Red Wings. They were Chuck Taylor's. Well it was definitely skinny jeans.

You and your four similarly dressed friends were hanging out, talking about craft beer, smoking American Spirits and shooting shots of Jamison. Before I could muster the nerve to approach you, the whole gang hopped on their track bikes and took off. Your probably not the type to read these things but I had to try. WHO ARE YOU?!

Gay Karaoke

It was Karaoke night at Union. I was there with some friends chatting about this or that when I heard the voice of an angle. You were signing "Arms Wide Open" by Creed ... 100 times better than Scott Stapp ever dreamed of! I'm not usually into things like Christian soft rock but you gave me goosebumps that night (lord help me)! The DJ said your name was Brian but I saw you were with someone so I didn't introduce myself. I pray it wasn't your boyfriend!

If you read this and you're interested I'll take it that your single. I'm looking for someone fun who isn't afraid to try new things! Willing to commit if the person is right. I'm 5"9 medium build, short brown hair with frosted tips and blue eyes. Look for me next Karaoke night. I never miss it! I'll be wearing a red Ed Hardy T-shirt, khaki shorts and boat shoes. The first three drinks are on me! Hope to see you there!
